• Voices in the Wires—"Lightning messages" sent by telegraph were a new technology in 1861. Meet Mr. Sean Murphy, Telegraph Agent for the Denver and Rio Grande Railroad, who tells the tales of the development of telegraphy, its role in military intelligence during the Civil War, and the discovery of "white noise"—ghostly voices in the wires.
• Where Do We Go from Here?—Presented by Pikes Peak Ghost Hunters, this interactive presentation introduces you to our unique experiences in the Pikes Peak region, in several especially haunted areas elsewhere in the U. S., and in marvelously paranormal Ireland. We'll also tell you how we became interested in ghost hunting and why you might, too!
• Victorian Cemetery Art—The Victorian Era (1840s–1910s) gave us many of the funerary practices we still use today—most importantly the elegant images that help us honor those who have "passed on." Learn the history and meaning of cemetery art and icons, why the art was chosen, and how graveyard architecture has changed through the ages.
